Terms of Service

The service

Jobmagic matches you to openings from public job boards, uses AI to prepare tailored resumes, cover letters and answers to application questions, helps you track applications and prepare for interviews, drafts outreach to people at companies you’re tracking, and, through our Chrome extension, fills and submits the applications you start with Autopilot.

Some features need Pro, and both plans have the usage limits shown in the app. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to use Jobmagic, and each account is for one person. You can sign up with an email and password or with Google. Keep your sign-in safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account.

Your content

You own what you put into Jobmagic (your profile, resumes, answers and notes) and the documents we generate for you. You let us store, process and display that content, and share it with the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, only to run Jobmagic for you.

AI-generated content

AI drafts can be wrong or incomplete. Jobmagic only works from the facts in your profile and resumes and flags numbers it can’t find there, but you’re responsible for reviewing every document and answer before you use it.

Autopilot and the extension

When you start Autopilot on a job, you authorize Jobmagic to fill in and submit that application in your browser using your profile, resumes and saved answers. When a question needs you, it asks in the app or by email. It never solves CAPTCHAs or signs in to employer sites for you.

You’re responsible for every application sent from your account and for following the terms of the sites you apply through. Autopilot paces itself on employer sites and limits how many roles it applies to at one company. We may pause it if a site blocks it or it’s being misused.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Jobmagic to apply on behalf of someone else, submit false information, send unsolicited messages in bulk, scrape or resell data from Jobmagic (including Networking contacts), get around plan limits or security, or break the law.

Networking contacts are for your own job search. Jobmagic drafts messages; you decide whether to send them, and you send them yourself.

Plans and billing

Jobmagic has a Free plan and a Pro plan billed monthly or quarterly at the price shown before checkout. Payments, invoices and payment methods are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages; we never see or store your card details. Pro renews automatically until you cancel in the Stripe billing portal (Settings → Plan & billing) and stays active until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for refunds.

Referrals

When someone signs up with your referral link and qualifies, you each get one free month of Pro. Free months have no cash value. We may withhold rewards for self-referrals, duplicate accounts or other abuse, and we may change or end the program.

Job listings and other sites

Job postings, company details and logos come from employers, public job boards and data providers. We can’t promise they’re accurate or still open, and we aren’t responsible for employer sites or for how employers handle your application.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. It’s removed permanently 30 days later unless you restore it from the link we email you. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or harm the service or other people.

Disclaimers and liability

We don’t guarantee interviews, offers or any other result. Jobmagic is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, Jobmagic isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we’ll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
