About the role

Senior Product Manager, Platform at Jobgether in Canada. Remote, full-time, paying $155k–$175k. Posted November 6, 2026.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Platform based in Canada.

We are seeking a technically fluent, AI-oriented Senior Product Manager to shape the shared platform capabilities behind a growing digital product. In this remote role, you will define the vision and roadmap for foundational systems that enable product teams to deliver better customer experiences more efficiently. Your scope will span subscriptions, billing, customer data, security, reliability, and developer productivity. You will also lead initiatives to integrate AI throughout the software development lifecycle and establish the infrastructure needed for trusted AI-powered customer experiences. Working closely with engineering, data, and cross-functional teams, you will turn complex technical priorities into measurable business outcomes. This is a builder-focused opportunity to establish a new platform function and influence how multiple product teams operate and innovate.

Accountabilities:

    • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for shared platform systems, treating internal product squads, marketers, and analysts as key stakeholders and customers.

    • Prioritize platform investments and technical-debt initiatives, translating complex engineering needs into clear business trade-offs based on customer impact, operational capacity, and revenue.

    • Lead subscription management across mobile app stores and web platforms, including plans, billing, entitlements, and pricing experimentation tools used by Growth teams.

    • Oversee email deliverability to ensure critical customer communications, including invoices and receipts, reliably reach their intended recipients.

    • Own event collection, data orchestration, and customer data platform capabilities, ensuring teams have access to consistent, accurate, and privacy-conscious customer information.

    • Drive platform reliability, security, and performance, monitoring uptime, crash rates, application speed, release health, and version compatibility across iOS, Android, web, and APIs.

    • Modernize the software development lifecycle by introducing AI into coding, testing, code reviews, and releases, while improving CI/CD processes and the overall developer experience.

    • Define shared platform capabilities that enable secure and reliable AI experiences, including business context, protected data access, and safe customer-facing actions.

    • Partner with engineering leadership and software, DevOps, and data engineers to deliver platform initiatives, coordinate with other product squads, and collaborate with shared platform teams.

    • Explore and prototype AI-enabled solutions directly, establish measurable outcomes, and ensure delivery commitments remain aligned with broader product and business objectives.

    • Requirements:

      • Significant experience in product management, ideally within SaaS, software platforms, or technology-driven product organizations.

      • Strong technical fluency and the ability to work closely with software, DevOps, and data engineering teams on complex platform capabilities.

      • Demonstrated experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for shared systems, infrastructure, or platform products.

      • Ability to prioritize technical investments and debt reduction, translating engineering complexity into business value and communicating trade-offs to senior stakeholders.

      • Understanding of subscription management, billing systems, entitlements, pricing experimentation, and integrations across web and mobile platforms.

      • Experience with customer data platforms, event collection, data orchestration, and privacy-conscious data management.

      • Strong knowledge of platform reliability, application performance, security, API versioning, and release management.

      • Experience improving software development processes, including CI/CD, developer experience, and quality practices.

      • Practical interest in AI and its application to product development, with the ability to prototype solutions and identify opportunities to improve coding, testing, and delivery workflows.

      • Ability to define the technical and operational foundations required for secure, trustworthy AI-powered product experiences.

      • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align multiple teams around shared priorities.

      • A proactive, execution-focused mindset, with the ability to establish direction, navigate ambiguity, and deliver measurable results.

      • Must be eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship and be willing to travel to corporate headquarters or other North American offices when required.

      • Benefits:

        • Base salary: CAD $155,000–$175,000 annually, depending on location, local market conditions, experience, and expertise.

        • Flexible working arrangements, with the option to work remotely, in-office, or in a hybrid setup within the country of employment.

        • Annual wellness stipend and access to wellness benefits.

        • Three weeks of vacation to start.

        • One paid volunteer day of your choice.

        • Two floating holidays to celebrate occasions that are meaningful to you.

        • Ongoing investment in professional development and learning.

        • Employee Stock Purchase Program.

        • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with a 4% employer match.

        • Opportunity to help establish a new platform function and influence product strategy, engineering practices, and AI adoption across teams.
