Senior Fullstack Developer (.NET/React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (.NET/React) based in Brazil.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade web applications using modern .NET and React technologies. In this role, you will take ownership of both backend architecture and frontend development, delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that support complex business needs. You will collaborate directly with North American clients and distributed engineering teams in a dynamic, agile environment. Your responsibilities will span API development, database architecture, cloud integration, and modern frontend engineering. Beyond writing high-quality code, you will contribute to architectural decisions, technical improvements, and engineering best practices. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other developers and influence the technical direction of meaningful projects. Accountabilities:

• Fullstack Development: Lead the development and continuous improvement of enterprise web applications, building robust backend services with C# and .NET Core/.NET 5+ while delivering dynamic, responsive frontend experiences using React.js.
• API Development and Integration: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ASP.NET Web APIs and integration layers to automate complex enterprise workflows and support client-facing digital solutions.
• Frontend Architecture: Build modular and reusable component libraries, responsive interfaces, and maintainable frontend architectures using JavaScript, TypeScript, React Hooks, Context, and state management solutions such as Redux or Zustand.
• Database Design and Optimization: Manage Microsoft SQL Server environments, including database schema design, data persistence, complex stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query performance optimization.
• Cloud and DevOps Integration: Implement and maintain automated testing processes and CI/CD pipelines within cloud-native environments, primarily using Microsoft Azure, while following modern Git workflows and deployment practices.
• Technical Quality and Architecture: Ensure application performance, scalability, maintainability, and security while proactively identifying technical debt and contributing to architectural improvements.
• Code Reviews and Documentation: Conduct constructive code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and create clear technical documentation to support sustainable development.
• Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers, sharing technical knowledge and promoting collaboration within distributed, agile engineering teams.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with US-based client stakeholders and engineering teams to understand business requirements, align technical solutions with project objectives, and ensure successful delivery.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in fullstack software development, with a proven track record of building, maintaining, and scaling web applications in fast-paced startup, consulting, or nearshore environments.
• Backend Development: Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+, and ASP.NET Web API, with strong experience designing and developing scalable backend architectures and RESTful services.
• Frontend Development: Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, React Hooks, Context API, and frontend state management tools such as Redux or Zustand.
• Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex database schema design, indexing, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Cloud and DevOps: Solid understanding of Git, automated CI/CD pipelines, software testing, and cloud-native development environments. Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred, while AWS or Google Cloud Platform experience is also valuable.
• Software Engineering Best Practices: Strong knowledge of software architecture, clean code principles, application performance optimization, automated testing, and technical documentation.
• Technical Ownership: A proactive and autonomous mindset, with the ability to take responsibility for technical decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, manage technical debt, and navigate unfamiliar codebases independently.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Experience participating in code reviews, mentoring other developers, and collaborating effectively within distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Communication Skills: Advanced written and spoken English proficiency is mandatory, with the ability to communicate confidently and collaborate in real time with US-based clients, engineering teams, and leadership.
• Location: Currently based in Latin America and available for a fully remote engagement aligned with US-based teams.
