Product Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager based in India.

As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative, AI-powered consumer applications designed to simplify everyday digital experiences. You will help transform complex technologies into intuitive, accessible products that users can adopt naturally, without requiring advanced technical knowledge or complicated prompts. Working closely with design and engineering teams, you will translate user needs and business objectives into clear product requirements, engaging user journeys, and impactful features. You will own the product roadmap, oversee development priorities, and guide initiatives from initial concept through launch and continuous improvement. Using customer feedback, behavioral insights, and performance data, you will identify opportunities to increase user adoption, engagement, and retention. Accountabilities:

• Define product requirements, user journeys, feature priorities, and acceptance criteria based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with product design and engineering teams to develop intuitive, user-friendly experiences and ensure that delivered features meet customer expectations.
• Own and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives according to user value, business impact, technical feasibility, and development effort.
• Coordinate the entire product development lifecycle, from initial planning and concept development through design, implementation, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Translate complex user problems and business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications for design and engineering teams.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align product strategy, development priorities, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor product performance and analyze usage data, customer feedback, and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving user activation, engagement, retention, and overall product adoption.
• Conduct user research and analyze customer behavior to better understand needs, pain points, and opportunities for product innovation.
• Monitor competing products, emerging technologies, and market trends to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
• Make data-informed product decisions, balancing customer expectations, business goals, available resources, and technical constraints.
• Continuously evaluate launched features and products, using insights and performance metrics to guide enhancements and future development.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Product Management, preferably within consumer technology, mobile applications, or software product development.
• Strong product sense and the ability to identify user problems and translate them into simple, intuitive, and valuable product experiences.
• Proven experience defining product requirements, user journeys, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully launching products or features that deliver measurable improvements in user adoption, engagement, or retention.
• Strong understanding of product strategy and roadmap management, with the ability to prioritize initiatives based on user needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, and development resources.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to define product success metrics, interpret user behavior, and use data to drive continuous improvements.
• Good understanding of software development methodologies and product delivery processes.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements, product specifications, and development trade-offs effectively to engineering teams and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly when working with multidisciplinary and remote teams.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience building, launching, or scaling consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Experience introducing new products or features across international markets.
• Technical background or previous experience in software engineering.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies, particularly AI-powered consumer products and AI-native user experiences.
• Interest in emerging technologies and the ability to identify opportunities to integrate AI into everyday digital products.
