About the Role

We are looking for an Office Engineer to join our Preconstruction team in our regional offices across the United States. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand construction design documents and specifications.
• Prepare accurate construction cost estimates and quantity surveys across various scopes of work.
• Manage cost and design issues to optimize project outcomes.
• Coordinate trades and gain exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Oversee project purchasing, including scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations, and contracting.

Qualifications

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills, and a “team first” mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Preferred:

• Internship or prior experience in construction or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and scheduling principles.
