LTD Controller

We are looking for a hands-on LTD Controller to own the financial operations of Yotpo Ltd, our Israeli parent company. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will lead the local bookkeeping team and be the focal point for the Israeli entity, from the monthly close to tax, payments and audit. This is a high-impact role for a proactive finance professional who wants to improve processes and drive automation in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Close & Reporting: Lead the Ltd's monthly, quarterly and annual close in NetSuite, including balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews.
• Statutory Reporting & Audit: Prepare the Ltd's statutory financial statements and US GAAP reporting package, and manage the annual audit.
• Tax Compliance: Oversee VAT, withholding tax, income tax advances and the annual tax return, working with external tax advisors.
• Intercompany & Allocations: Review monthly allocations and work with corporate finance on intercompany and transfer pricing.
• Payments & Treasury: Approve payment cycles and invoice recording, and oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow.
• Payroll: Approve payroll-related payments and reconcile them to the books.
• AP & Procurement: Act as the focal point for Zip and AP, and oversee Mesh, Stripe and Shopify activity.
• Entity-Level Accounting: Own Ltd-specific matters such as employee loans, rental income, provisions and hedging.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Israeli bookkeeping team and make sure deadlines are met.
• Process Optimization & Projects: Maintain internal controls, automate workflows with AI tools, and lead ad hoc and system projects.

 

Requirements

• CPA (Israeli license) with a Big 4 background – Must.
• Experience: 2+ years as a Controller / Assistant Controller in Hi-Tech/SaaS, or 4+ years at a CPA firm.
• Professional Knowledge: Israeli tax, Israeli GAAP and US GAAP – Must.
• Language: Fluent Hebrew and English – Must.
• Systems: Advanced Excel; NetSuite, Zip, Mesh, Stripe and Shopify – significant advantage.
• Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, independent and proactive.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics.
