Backed by leading investors including Cantos, Slow Ventures, Banter Capital, Humba Ventures, and Ravelin Capital.
We're hiring an Inventory Specialist at our New Albany mill to help keep materials, supplies, and finished lumber accurately tracked from receiving through shipment. We'll train you and get you forklift certified.
What you'll do
Receive incoming lumber, hardware, and supplies, and check them for damage or discrepancies against packing slips and purchase orders
Enter receipts into our inventory system accurately and on time
Run regular cycle counts and physical counts, and help investigate and resolve variances
Keep the yard, warehouse, and storage areas organized and labeled
Pull and stage materials for production runs and outgoing shipments
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and stack lumber safely
Flag low stock and reorder needs before they become a problem
Support month-end and year-end inventory audits
What we're looking for
High school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
Comfortable with basic computer work, data entry, and Excel
Organized, dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs regularly, stand and move for long periods, and work outdoors in all weather
A plus: 6 months to a year of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience
Location: On site at our mill in New Albany, Mississippi.
We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including:
100% employer-paid health coverage for employees and dependents (medical, dental, and vision)
100% employer-paid life insurance and disability coverage
Paid time off and company holidays
The opportunity to help build something from the ground up in an essential, evolving industry
Join our team as we modernize timber from forest to finished product.
