The Village at Rockville is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Part-Time Dining Cook to join our Dining Services team. If you enjoy preparing delicious meals, working with a supportive team, and creating a welcoming dining experience, we would love to hear from you!

Schedule & Pay

• Part-Time
• Evening Shift: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Pay Range: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour (Final offer based on skills, experience, and professional background).

What You'll Do

As a Dining Cook, you'll help create meals our residents look forward to while maintaining high standards for quality, presentation, and food safety.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook flavorful, nutritious meals according to established menus and recipes.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented with care, consistency, and attention to quality.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Dining Services team to provide an exceptional resident dining experience.
• Support special meals, events, and other dining needs as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve others.
• Ability to read and speak English.
