## Description

**Job Title:** Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Adult Neuro)

**Band:** 6

**Contract Type:** One year fixed full-time (TBC) post, 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility to extend after one year (to be confirmed)

**Accountable To:** Specialist Rehabilitation Services Manager

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care and support to adults with neurological conditions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assess, diagnose, and manage speech, language, and communication disorders in adults with neurological conditions.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
