You’ll develop and maintain serverless, event-driven systems and APIs that integrate with third-party services. Working closely with senior engineers, you’ll take ownership of well-scoped features and contribute to technical and product discussions, helping design solutions that use modern AI capabilities to deliver real value to users. Rather than a monolithic environment, you’ll work within an ecosystem of services and help improve their reliability and quality. Experience with JVM languages is a plus. - Interest in or early experience with **AI/LLM integration** and p**rompt engineering**. - Working knowledge of event-driven systems (message queues, asynchronous workflows). Experience with serverless architectures and state machines is a plus. - Experience in a cloud environment. **AWS** experience is a plus, particularly **Lambda, DynamoDB, Bedrock, OpenSearch, and API Gateway.** - A solid understanding of why testing matters at every stage, with practical experience writing unit and integration tests. Familiarity with test-driven development is a plus. - Ability to break down and estimate well-defined pieces of work, and to prioritize them with guidance. - Ability to model data and queries around feature requirements with performance in mind.
