### Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a full-time **Senior Software Engineer** to join us in our mission of bringing the **ION Factory OS** to next-generation hardware builders around the globe. We are looking for engineers who leverage AI coding tools to build end-to-end features with unprecedented speed and quality.
Our newest recruit will join the First Resonance team full-time in **Los Angeles, CA (HQ in El Segundo)** as a foundational member of our product team.

### Responsibilities & Duties

- **End-to-End Feature Ownership:** Use **AI-augmented workflows** (Claude) to build and deploy full-stack features using **Python** (Backend) and **Next.js/TypeScript** (Frontend).

- **API & Data Architecture:** Develop high-performance **GraphQL** mutations and queries; design relational database models in **Postgres** that reflect complex industrial processes.

- **Cloud Infrastructure:** Build and maintain scalable services on **AWS**, leveraging modern infrastructure patterns.

- **AI-Driven Productivity:** Lead the team in adopting AI tools to automate boilerplate, refactor legacy logic, and accelerate the "idea-to-production" cycle.

- **Technical Leadership:** Write design specifications and diagrams (UML/System Flow) that guide both human teammates and AI agents.

- **Reliability:** Drive code-level architecture, modularity, and comprehensive testing (Pytest, Jest) to ensure ion remains mission-critical for our customers.
