### **You will be:**

- designing and developing scalable backend solutions using Golang and Python,

- building and maintaining reliable APIs and complex business workflows,

- contributing to architectural decisions and shaping the technical direction of the project,

- ensuring high code quality through automated testing and engineering best practices,

- working with modern cloud-native technologies and AI-assisted development tools,

- collaborating with an experienced engineering team to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions,

- taking ownership of technical challenges and driving solutions in a fast-evolving environment.

 

### **Your profile:**

- strong commercial experience in developing backend applications using Golang,

- proven experience in developing applications and solutions using Python,

- solid experience with PostgreSQL, including database design and optimisation,

- proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs,

- experience implementing complex business workflows and large-scale state machines,

- strong knowledge of automated testing, particularly end-to-end (E2E) testing,

- experience working in an AI-first or AI-assisted software development environment,

- ability to establish reliable engineering guardrails for AI-generated code, including automated testing and E2E test coverage,

- ability to make sound technical decisions and navigate evolving requirements and architectural challenges.

- **Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.**

### **Nice to have:**

- experience with Kubernetes, particularly deploying and running backend services within a Kubernetes cluster,

- familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP),

- experience working with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures,

- experience with Redis or Redis-compatible databases,

- knowledge of cloud-native and containerised backend architectures,

- experience in the fintech industry, ideally working with financial workflows related to lending, leasing, or payments,

- experience developing AI agents and agentic workflows,

- experience designing and developing systems that combine automated workflows with human decision-making or approval processes.
