### **Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN)**

### **Job Overview**

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled **Registered Nurse (RN)** to provide one-on-one clinical care for a pediatric patient in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in **pediatric seizure **management.

### **Clinical Requirements & Responsibilities**

- **Seizure Management:** Monitoring and intervention for epilepsy; **proven pediatric seizure experience is required.**

- **G-Tube Care:** Administration of scheduled feedings and medications via Gastrostomy tube.

- **Ostomy Care:** Routine management and maintenance of an ostomy bag.

- **Assessment:** Continuous monitoring of respiratory and neurological status

### **🕒 Shift Times**

- 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM - Monday

- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM- Wednesday

- 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM-  Wednesday & Sunday

- 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM- Thursday

### **Responsibilities**

- Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)

- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs

- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)

- Communicate with families and care teams

- Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care

### **Schedule & Pay**

- Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available

- Day, night, and weekend shifts

- Weekly pay + optional daily pay

- Active **RN or LPN license** in the state of Michigan

- Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)

- Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)

- Strong communication and critical thinking skills

### **Patient Population**

- Adults with complex medical needs
