## Description

**Part-Time Optometrist – New Mexico (1–2 Days/Month)Location:** New Mexico (Travel Throughout Assigned Service Areas)
**Schedule:** 1–2 weekdays per month, Monday through Friday
**Compensation:** $1,200 per visit/day
**Position Type:** Independent Contractor (1099)

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a **Part-Time Optometrist (OD)** to provide care within a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment across multiple partner locations throughout New Mexico.

This is a clinic-based role where you'll function as an extension of the clinical team within coordinated, community-focused settings serving senior populations.

- Los Alamos

- Grants

- Gallup

- Socorro

- Truth or Consequences

- Alamogordo

- Las Cruces

Mileage reimbursement may be available based on travel requirements.

### What You'll Do

- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments

- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice

- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations

- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team

- Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

### Qualifications

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program

- Active New Mexico Optometry License

- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

### Schedule

- 1–2 weekdays per month

- Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

- No nights

- No weekends

- No billing or administrative responsibilities
