### **Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Acute Medical & Orthopaedic WardsLocation:** Newport 
**Contract:** Temporary
**Hours:** Full-time

Our client is seeking an experienced **Band 6 Occupational Therapist** to join their team, working across **acute medical and orthopaedic wards**. This role involves providing specialist occupational therapy interventions to support patient recovery and facilitate safe, timely discharges.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for patients on acute medical and orthopaedic wards.

- Complete functional assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.

- Support discharge planning and liaise with the multidisciplinary team.

- Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
