**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

We are seeking a freelance** Norwegian** SEO Specialist to join and support our SEO team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our SEO efforts by conducting keyword research, utilizing keyword planners, and optimizing content, among other responsibilities.

- Keyword Planner
- Metadata Optimisation
- Content Optimisation
- On-Page Optimisation
- Keyword Translation from English to Norwegian and Norwegian to English
- Data Handling and Management
- SEO Copywriting
 

**REQUIREMENTS Education Level **

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university in a related field, or equivalent work experience

**Experience**

- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in SEO. 

- Strong working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for SEO, with basic skills in writing and reading code.

- **Native level of Norwegian and strong understanding of the Norwegian culture**

- In-depth understanding of best practices for various search engines, including Google, Bing, Baidu, and others.

- Proven ability to deliver successful results through SEO initiatives.

- Extensive knowledge and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, and WebTrends.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Expertise in using third-party SEO analysis tools, including Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, and similar platforms.

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines consistently.

- Strong understanding of how other online and offline marketing channels—such as display ads, affiliates, social media, print, TV, and email—interact with and influence SEO.
