Working with Event Venue Management, local emergency medical services and hospital partners, you will turn strategic medical plans into practical venue operations, from medical stations and supplies to emergency response. In the years leading up to the Games, you will establish these operations from the ground up, then lead them through test events and Games time with integrity and sound judgment.

- Coordinate operational planning, venue readiness, and day-to-day delivery of venue-based medical services across designated competition and non-competition sites.

- Act as a primary operational liaison for Event Venue Management (EVM), supporting the integration of International Federation (IF) technical guidelines and NOC/NPC medical delegation requirements.

**Operational Planning & Readiness**

- Translate strategic medical plans into venue-specific operational plans, run sheets, spatial layouts, and operational timelines.

- Determine and verify venue operational requirements, including medical equipment, consumables, pharmaceuticals, and designated medical station infrastructure.

- Support the delivery of training modules, briefings, and onboarding for venue medical staff, volunteers, and contractor personnel covering emergency response and sport-specific standards.

- Implement and monitor venue public health, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

**Medical Service Delivery & Daily Operations**

- Facilitate daily operations of venue medical services, including athlete medical rooms, spectator first aid stations, workforce care, and field-of-play (FOP) response teams.

- Supervise inventory control, pharmacy storage/tracking, supply replenishment, and on-venue medical transport logistics.

- Provide direct venue operational support during test events and Games time.

**Emergency Preparedness & Response**

- Coordinate on-venue emergency medical response procedures in direct partnership with local EMS, designated hospital liaisons, and venue public safety stakeholders.

- Assist in drafting venue-specific medical incident and emergency action plans (EAPs), participating in operational readiness exercises, tabletop simulations, and test events.

- Execute medical environmental monitoring protocols (e.g., heat mitigation, extreme weather, air quality).

**Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration**

- Maintain day-to-day working relationships with local hospital networks, EMS providers, transport services, and designated medical contractors.

- Coordinate with municipal public health and safety personnel on venue reporting and surveillance protocols.

**Compliance & Documentation**

- Ensure operational compliance with IOC/IPC medical codes, IF regulations, and federal/state healthcare standards.

- Draft, update, and distribute venue medical guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), run-of-show documents, and incident reporting forms

**Cross-Functional Integration**

- Collaborate with internal LA28 functional areas (Event Venue Management, Event Venue Services, Venue Infrastructure, Security, Logistics and Technology) to integrate medical space and service needs.

- Support the field implementation and end-user adoption of the Games Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system across assigned venues.

**Resource & Workforce Administration**

- Track venue operational budgets, resource utilization, and inventory burn rates.

- Assist with venue-specific workforce scheduling, check-in, orientation, and deployment tracking for paid and volunteer medical personnel
