While he is non-verbal and paralyzed, he has a strong presence and a family that is deeply committed to his comfort.

### A Day in the Life

Your day will include:

- **Respiratory Support:** Keeping his lungs clear using a nebulizer and a cough assist machine three times a day.

- **Nutrition:** Managing his feeding tube and ensuring his daily intake is on track.

- **Safe Movement:** Using a ceiling lift for transfers—allowing you to move the client safely and comfortably without physical strain.

- **Physical Therapy:** Coordinating with the family to get him ready for his weekly PT appointments.

### **Responsibilities**

- Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care, etc.)

- Monitor and document vitals, symptoms, and changes in condition

- Assist with ADLs such as repositioning, hygiene, mobility, etc.

- Support patient well-being with compassionate and attentive care

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team
