## Requirements

## Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead client accounting engagements, managing all aspects of the client’s accounting function to ensure accurate and timely reporting of business financials

- Develop, document, and continuously improve finance processes, controls, and operational efficiency

- Prepare and review all financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement on a monthly basis within 7 business days of month end

- Provide ongoing financial reporting, tracking of Key Performance Indicators, strategic insights into business performance, and proactive cash flow management to clients

- Support clients through fundraising processes through data room preparation, communication with external financing partners, and ongoing needs

- Collaborate closely with tax partners to provide information necessary for quarterly estimates and annual corporate tax filings

- Manage Velo’s financial operations team who performs bookkeeping categorization and reconciliation on a weekly basis, managing the communication process with clients to ensure accurate categorization of vendors and expenses

- Ensure clients utilize the appropriate financial tech stack and manage the implementation and day to day use of the selected tools

Qualifications:
