**What's on offer**

- **Salary:** The average total salary package for a senior doctor is around NZ$343,500, which is roughly £149,000. This includes on-call, overtime, superannuation and allowances. Base salaries for Medical Specialists range from NZ$185K to NZ$267K, with allowances on top that vary by location and service 

- **CME and indemnity:** an annual CME allowance of NZ$16,000, reimbursement of registration and practising certificate fees, and professional indemnity covered by Health New Zealand

- **Leave:** 6 weeks' annual leave and 12 paid public holidays

- **Residency:** Senior Medical Officers are on Tier 1 of the Green List, so you can apply for residency before you arrive
