- Defining and executing the channel strategy for Nigeria and West Africa in alignment with regional and global business objectives.

- Identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and managing strategic channel partners, including system integrators, fintech companies, consulting firms, and resellers.

- Developing joint business plans with partners, establishing pipeline targets, identifying priority industry segments, and coordinating go-to-market initiatives.

- Enabling partners to understand and effectively promote software solutions, value propositions, and target customer profiles.

- Organizing partner training, certifications, sales enablement activities, and solution alignment initiatives.

- Monitoring partner performance, forecasting business opportunities, and evaluating contributions to pipeline generation and revenue growth.

- Ensuring partners are equipped to deliver high-quality implementations and achieve strong customer outcomes.

- Collaborating with partners on joint marketing campaigns, industry events, promotional activities, and thought leadership initiatives.

- Supporting partners in identifying, qualifying, and developing opportunities with banks, microfinance institutions, fintech companies, and other financial services providers.

- Working closely with internal sales teams to coordinate partner-led opportunities and co-selling activities.

- Serving as the primary point of contact for regional channel partners and building strong relationships with partner executives, sales leaders, and delivery teams.

- Coordinating with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Professional Services, and Marketing teams to support partner development and commercial success.

- Monitoring developments in the West African banking and fintech ecosystem, including regulatory changes, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

- Sharing market intelligence and partner feedback with leadership and product teams to inform business strategy and product roadmap decisions.

### Requirements

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven channel management professional with extensive enterprise software sales experience and a strong understanding of financial services markets across West Africa. The following qualifications and skills are expected:

- At least 10 years of experience in SaaS sales or enterprise software sales models, preferably within the financial services industry.

- At least 5 years of experience in channel management, partner sales, strategic alliances, or indirect sales.

- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian and broader West African financial services ecosystem, including banks, fintech companies, and system integrators.

- Proven experience recruiting, onboarding, enabling, and managing channel or alliance partners.

- Demonstrated ability to generate qualified business pipelines and drive revenue through partner networks.

- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, partner ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to manage multiple strategic partnerships and commercial priorities independently.
