**The job in short**

We are transitioning away from siloed engineering roles toward T-shaped, AI-empowered web developers. As an Applied AI Software Engineer (Web), you will build user-centric web applications and banking solutions while utilizing AI-driven tools and agentic workflows to accelerate code delivery, testing, and system integrations.

**Meet the job**

- **AI-Enabled Web Delivery:** Actively leverage AI coding assistants, LLM workflows, and automated tooling to accelerate feature development across UI, backend services, and APIs.

- **End-to-End Ownership:** Deliver production-ready features for the Backbase Digital Banking and Wealth platforms—from Angular frontend components to backend microservice integrations.

- **Modern Web Engineering:** Write clean, testable, and maintainable TypeScript/Angular code utilizing Nx, RxJS, and the Backbase Design System.

- **Quality & Performance:** Design testable components, run unit/integration test suites, and uphold strict web accessibility (a11y), security, and performance standards.

- **Agile Collaboration:** Work autonomously within a cross-functional Scrum squad (UX, QA, Product Managers) to ship rapid product increments.
