### **Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Acute Stroke UnitLocation:** Essex
**Contract:** Temporary

Our client is seeking an experienced **Band 6 Occupational Therapist** to join their team on a **Hyper Acute Stroke Unit** in Essex. This role involves providing specialist occupational therapy interventions for patients with acute stroke, supporting recovery and facilitating safe, timely discharges.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for patients on a hyper acute stroke unit.

- Complete functional assessments and rehabilitation plans tailored to stroke recovery.

- Support **discharge planning** and liaise with the multidisciplinary team.

- Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
