- Define the data platform roadmap, standards, and best practices as part of a lean, high-ownership team.

- Partner with data engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists and business groups to convert requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.

- Lead design sessions, perform technical reviews, and guide decisions related to warehousing, pipelines, orchestration, and governance.

- Evaluate and integrate relevant tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion, Azure/AWS services).

- Implement strong data security, privacy, and access management controls within Snowflake.

- Troubleshoot and optimize warehouse performance, cost efficiency, and query execution.

- Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

### Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in data architecture and data engineering, with at least 3 years hands-on in Snowflake.

- Deep expertise in Snowflake features (Warehouses, Streams/Tasks, Time Travel, RBAC, Clustering, Stages etc.).

- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python.

- Strong understanding of data modeling (star, vault, wide tables), CI/CD for data, and scalable architecture patterns.

- C1 - C2 English level: able to lead technical discussions, write clear documentation, and work directly with US-based stakeholders.

### Nice to Have

- Experience with healthcare data and standards like HL7 and FHIR.

- Experience with dbt for transformations.

- Background in building event-driven or real-time data pipelines.

- Prior experience designing greenfield data platforms.

### Soft Skills
